Welcome to PEARS

Pears – the Personal Executive Assistant Regional Society – was founded by Olivia Harris at Brindleyplace in June 2004 to recognise the integral role PAs play to the overall success of businesses across the professional services community. Since then, the rate of PAs and Senior Secretaries joining from in and around Birmingham is increasing week by week.

At the beginning of 2011 Brindleyplace collaborated with the Business Improvement Districts from around Birmingham city centre to expand and improve the society for its members and to attract new members and venues.  The steering group now consists of representatives from Brindleyplace Management, City Centre Partnership, Broad Street BID, Colmore Business District and Retail Birmingham BID.

Pears meetings are held on a bi-monthly basis at venues across the City and give all members the opportunity to view locations and also hear talks on a wide variety of topics. Of course, it also gives PAs and Secretaries the chance to network and sample the culinary delights of Birmingham.
