Today we are bombarded by the low fat, low sugar craze. Why then is the nation at its largest and time off work so high?

Companies last year spend on average £598 per employee on sickness absence, with the major contributor to this being minor illnesses, such as colds, flu and stomach bugs. One of the major problems companies are facing is the lack of education about what we should be eating to provide health and productivity in the work place.

Calories are only one aspect of food. What is more important is the vitality and life foods provide for your body. Your body is making 3 million cells a second, all it cares about is nutrients to make these cells and give life, the number of calories is insignificant. Did your last low fat, low sugar snack have nutrition left in it? If it was a cereal bar then the answer is definitely no and it was 46% sugar, they don’t say that on the label!

To be highly productive at work, loose weight and feel amazing we need to be eating foods that are minimally processed by humans and that still have life left in them.
